STORY OF MY NAME!

Up until I was 21, my name was "Vinod Kumar P G", and I went by the first 2-syllable word. Then I got a passport, in which I had to expand my P and G! And then I came to USA, where I kept writing as much of my name as it fits in the many forms I had to fill... Boy, did I know what a mess I was getting myself into? Now I have an academic persona, who also banks, a driver persona who goes by a 26-letter name, a frequent flyer persona with a 33-letter name, and a diligent tax payer persona with an even longer name.

To add to all this, I also have a coffee-loving alter-ego named "Vincent" who comes to life at coffee shops to save me from disasters like this.

But, if you see me at a conference, please call me "Vinod".
