System.ComponentModel.CancelEventHandler Delegate

Assembly: System.dll
Namespace: System.ComponentModel
Summary
Represents the method that handles a cancellable event.
C# Syntax:
[Serializable]
public delegate void CancelEventHandler(object sender, CancelEventArgs e);
Parameters:
The declaration of your event handler must have the same parameters as the CancelEventHandler delegate declaration.

sender

The source of the event.

e

A CancelEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks
When you create a CancelEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event-handler method is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event-handler delegates, see the conceptual topic at MSDN: eventsdelegates.
Example
For an example of how to use the CancelEventHandler delegate, please see the sample code in the CancelEventArgs class.
