Angelos Keromytis is an associate professor in the Computer Science department at Columbia University, in New York. He is also the director of the Network Security Lab. His main research interests are in computer security, cryptography, and networking. He is an active participant in the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force), and in particular the IPsec and IPSP Working Groups. He occasionally contributes to the OpenBSD operating system. He has been working on the KeyNote trust-management system and the STRONGMAN access control management system. Other projects he is/was involved in include AEGIS and SwitchWare.
