Obtaining FinDer

FinDer is a software system, developed at Columbia University, which uses low discrepancy sequences to solve problems in finance.

The use of low discrepancy  sequences to value complex securities and for risk management has been patented by Columbia University. A very important instance of a complex security is a financial derivative. US Patent 5,940,810 issued on August 17, 1999. US patent 6,058,377 issued on May 2, 2000. Columbia University offers a licence for the patent and/or the FinDer software under reasonable terms and conditions. Interested parties should contact:
