Rivka Levitan

I was a PhD student at Columbia University from 2009 to 2014, working with Prof. Julia Hirschberg in the Spoken Language Processing Group. I defended my dissertation, Acoustic-Prosodic Entrainment in Human-Human and Human-Computer Dialogue, in July.
In January, I joined the Computer Science Department at Brooklyn College CUNY as an assistant professor. My new website is here. Please contact me if you are a CUNY student interested in spoken language processing research!
I am also continuing as a research scientist in the Spoken Language Processing Group, working on BOLT, a spoken language translation project.
