 About Me

I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the Languages and Compilers Group, Columbia University, since Jan 2007. My advisor is Prof. Stephen Edwards.

I completed my undergraduation from RV College of Engineering (Computer Science), Bangalore in the year 2005. I obtained my Masters degree in Computer Science from Columbia University in Feb 2008.

I worked for about a year at Yahoo Research and Development Centre (Bangalore) in 2005. I was a Research Intern at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center (New York), Microsoft Research (UK) and Indian Institute of Science (Bangalore) during the summers of 2008, 2007 and 2005 respectively.

 Research Interests

My research interests lie in programming principles, distributed/multicore Systems and concurrent models.
I am looking at code generation and analysis techniques for deterministic concurrent languages. I am currently working on a deterministic concurrent language called SHIM. More...
