 About Me

I am a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the Languages and Compilers Group, Columbia University, since Jan 2007. My advisor is Prof. Stephen Edwards.

I completed my undergraduation from RV College of Engineering (Computer Science), Bangalore in the year 2005. I obtained my Masters degree in Computer Science at Columbia University.

I am currently interning at IBM Watson Research Center (New York).

I worked for about a year in Yahoo Research and Development Centre (Bangalore). I was a Research Intern at Microsoft Research (UK) and Indian Institute of Science (Bangalore) during the summers of 2007 and 2005 respectively.

 Research Interests

My research interests lie in Programming Principles, Distributed/Multicore Systems and Concurrent Models.
I am currently working on a deterministic concurrent language called SHIM.
