Jagro
These pages are dedicated to the memory of my father,
Jack Grossberg, or as he was sometimes known “Jagro.”
He was a motion picture producer for over 30 years. Before that
he worked in television, and radio. During World War II he was in
the army air transport command and a reporter for the Stars and
Stripes. He grew up in Sea Gate, a neighborhood of Brooklyn in New
York City.
My dad passed away in December 2001. On the anniversery
of his passing I have finally collected some of the wonderful Eulogies
from his memorial services. There are also a few pictures from his
photo albums. I am hoping some of his friends can contribute some
stories to add. I also promised to include his answering machinge
message:
