- This week's episode of Our Witches at War is half an hour earlier in Newfoundland! Or a day. Depending on how you measure these things. It happens that the man called Gryphon isn't the only unexpected caller the 501st will be receiving in the first week of April, 1946. He might not even be the only one to arrive on fire! Here's Episode 03: "Friends New and Old" (with audio). 2015/01/29
- Time now for the next episode of our second Serial Experiment, Our Witches at War. When last we saw Gryphon, he was bleeding all over the 501st's nice clean hangar floor. Find out what happened next - and what the squadron's newest member made of it - in Episode 02: "All That We Can Truly Count On" (also available in audiobook form). 2015/01/23
- 1946. In Dimension GCC #332/S, the war against the alien Neuroi goes on. Humanity's forces have driven them out of much of western Europe, but their grip on the center of the Continent remains strong, and the flying witches of the Allied Expeditionary Force still have a lot of work to do. As such, they probably don't really have time to deal with an unannounced visitor from what is, from their perspective, an improbable alternate future. But it looks like they're getting one anyway. Avalon 17 presents a Lensmen: The Brave and the Bold side series (and EPU's second Serial Experiment), Our Witches at War! Catch the first episode, "The Man Who Fell to Earth - Again" (with simultaneous audio), right now; future eps to come on Fridays. 2015/01/20
- The audio edition of Technical Difficulties: Retaliation is now available. 2015/01/16
- What we saw in Technical Difficulties was only the start of a busy week for B'Elanna O'Brien and the crew of the Hwacha'. Now you can find out how the rest of the week unfolded in Technical Difficulties: Retaliation. (Audio should be up tomorrow.) 2015/01/14
- One stormy night on Ishiyama, the Chief's retreat is interrupted by the sudden arrival of a friend in need - one who has come an unprecedentedly long way to ask for his help. The only question is, does he actually have any to offer? Lensmen: The Brave and the Bold Presents "New Tricks" (with audio), the 2410 summer special! 2015/01/03
- It's a New Year's flurry of action. In the first episode of The Legacy of Korra Book 6 (Galaxy), An Avatar in New Avalon, Korra mentioned that she came to town looking for information about a crisis in the Spirit World some months before. Now, in the first release of 2015, you can watch that crisis unfold and the decision-making process that followed it in the epilogue of Legacy Book 5 (Veil), A New Galactic Age! (With concurrent audio. A stylesheet version may be along later.) 2015/01/01
- For the year's last release, we offer a special glimpse into the lives of three people who will play pivotal roles in the saga of Project Phoenix Flight, Challenging the Cold Silence: this is Hikari. (With accompanying illustration and concurrent audio release.) Happy New Year! 2014/12/31

- When last we saw Duelist B'Elanna O'Brien before her appearance in DS05 Among Honest Hearts, back in S4M7 The Revolution Will Be Televised, she was shipping out to join the Klingon Defense Force's fight against her uncle's overthrow of the Empire. Now you can find out a little of how that went in The Order of the Rose: A Duelist Opera's newest installment, Technical Difficulties (with concurrent audiobook release). 2014/11/11

The Cephirean Trinity's vacation in Dìqiú hasn't been as short or as simple as they were expecting, but they're making it work with a little help from their friends. Join them as they roll with the changes and take their places for life's next stage: Among Honest Hearts. 2014/10/29

- It's time for this week's installment of The Federation Lives Forever, Chapter Two: "Departure"! 2014/10/03
- The Order of the Rose Serial Experiment, The Federation Lives Forever!, continues with Chapter One: "Once in a Lifetime"! 2014/09/27
- There's more going on in Dìqiú than the Dìqiú Suite! In our new "serial experiment", we'll take a look at life in that world from a very different angle, as five high school students reach out to their musical heroes and discover that among music nerds, The Federation Lives Forever! In this first installment, the Supporting Documents originally presented on the Forum are compiled into a handy reference file, and the story gets underway with Chapter Zero: Prelude ("Living the Dream"). More to come. 2014/09/19
- The Order of the Rose: A Duelist Opera takes a moment to look in on what one of the Black Rose Duelists has been up to in the new side story, "Underground". 2014/09/07
- The fourth promotional excerpt from The Legacy of Korra: Challenging the Cold Silence is now available, as well as a new piece of CTCS artwork by Adam Kopala! 2014/08/19
- The Order of the Rose: A Duelist Opera now has audiobook editions available for all the finished parts that are getting them, including a brand new recording of Clarion Call. 2014/08/14
- The Undocumented Features Chronological Listing has been overhauled! Now with a less cluttered, easier-to-read format and a slightly handier set of shortcuts to various subseries pages, it's been fully updated to reflect recent adjustments to the catalog and includes a number of newly-promoted former Forum stories, including the Symphony No. 1 preludes Duet for Robots in E and The Art of Noise, the Dìqiú Suite prelude Career Counseling, and a newly styled and compiled edition of Operation Archangel! 2014/08/10
- Most of the existing audiobook editions of what is now The Order of the Rose and The Dìqiú Suite have been modified and re-uploaded, including a fully compiled version of the Goodbye and Hello, As Always Director's Cut. Just follow the audio icons on the index pages. This includes a brand new audiobook version of The Order of the Rose's Overture in A Minor. The missing pieces of the Order of the Rose audio will be filled in as time permits (except for Top Gear: "Road Film (With Fighting)", obviously). 2014/08/07
- As part of the Symphony No. 5 relabeling, Suite for Avatar and Trinity (The Dìqiú Suite) has been broken out on its own as a The Legacy of Korra / The Order of the Rose crossover series. It will conclude with its planned Fifth Movement, Among Honest Hearts, and then the action shifts back to the main Order of the Rose storyline for a (hopefully) grand finale! (Please note that the audio links for The Order of the Rose and The Dìqiú Suite don't work yet. This should be fixed within the next few days.) 2014/08/06
- The story set formerly known as Symphony of the Sword No. 5 has a new name and a new home. The original Duelists are grown and making their way in the galaxy - building careers, building families, and adding to their already-impressive CVs. On Jeraddo and at Tenjou Academy in Cephiro, a new generation enters the Order of the Rose, fired by the legends of those who came before them. The future looks bright... but just out of sight lurks the shadow of cruelty and hatred, and Duelists old and new are about to face their greatest challenge yet in The Order of the Rose: A Duelist Opera. 2014/08/06
- Also, Lensmen: The Brave and the Bold: Night of the Kissogram! has been reformatted with the new stylesheet. As has Weapon of Choice, for which the sheet was originally written. 2014/08/06
- I've reorganized a few scenes that were originally in the Prelude to Symphony of the Sword No. 5 into a couple of the stories in Symphony No. 4, and replaced the S5 Prelude with a trimmed-down Overture in A Minor. No material has been added or deleted, just moved around to make the chronological flow better and tighten up the theme of the S5 opening. For more details see this Forum thread. 2014/08/06
- Tying in with the newly-restyled presentation of other Legacy of Korra items from earlier, the Desolation Angel: Travels with the Phoenix Queen compilation has found a new home as one of Legacy's Lost Legends. Also included is a slightly reworked audio edition. Plus, all the other new-style HTML stories on the Legacy page have revised audio - just look for the audio icon at the top of the story, or next to its listing on the index page. 2014/08/04
- A working text-presentation stylesheet means a number of things that were originally either Forum Mini-Stories or in bland HTML have been given new life - and, by an odd coincidence, the first batch are all connected with UF: The Legacy of Korra. What we've got:
Revised and updated versions of the audio editions of these stories will be available later. 2014/08/04
- A third promotional excerpt from The Legacy of Korra: Challenging the Cold Silence is now available on the aforementioned new subpage. 2014/07/18
- Our in-progress Legacy of Korra special project, Challenging the Cold Silence: The Inside Story of Project Phoenix Flight, now has its own subpage under the Legacy tree. So far, the first two "promotional excerpts" originally released on the Forum can be found there, and subsequent ones will be appearing there as well - and naturally, it's where the book itself will eventually be released. 2014/07/16
- At one point in Goodbye and Hello, As Always, the Third Movement of Symphony No. 5's Dìqiú Suite, we left Korra and the gang to spend an afternoon looking over some of the Avatar's old photos. Now we step back in time to see what they talked about in Madrigal for a Nostalgic Afternoon ("Avatar Storytime"). With concurrent audiobook release! 2014/06/30

It's Chapter 1 of The Legacy of Korra, Book 6 (Galaxy): An Avatar in New Avalon! 2014/06/16
Compiler's note: There is a gap here where I missed scraping the
Eyrie website, and thus missed copying entries between 2013/09/10 and
2014/06/16. What follows is my attempt to reconstruct what was
released in that period, but I may have missed some things,
particularly art or audiobooks, and dates may be inaccurate.
Corrections, additions, or definitive copies of the What's New from
that period are welcome.

- I don't normally link to stuff on the Discussion
Forum here, as content over there is normally by way of a bonus
for Forum readers, but in this case the piece in question isn't really a
"bonus" so much as the next bit of Symphony No. 5; it's
presented on the Forum because that happens to be a convenient way of
making the document's format look the way I want it. So here you are:

Warning! Don't look at the new Phil pic until you've read Requiem for a Lensman. 08/09/2003
- We rejoin Symphony of the Sword No. 4 for the Fifth
Movement: Requiem for a
Lensman. (It helps if you think it in the style of the Big
O next-episode clips. "Missinnnng... cat.") 08/09/2003
- Get ready for action, True Believer, in the Mighty Marvel
Manner! Eyrie Productions and the Bacon Comics Group present the 2003
Annual issue of Lensmen Two-in-One: Excessive Force!
Excelsior! 07/12/2003
- Tying up the bits from Hunter Rose and laying
the groundwork for the Fifth Movement of Symphony of the Sword
No. 4, here's an entr'acte I call The Ceti Solution. 07/06/2003
- Got a bunch of stuff for you today. First off, there's a pile of
Symphony of the Sword fan art in the
usual spot - look for the
New! flag. Includes five images from Dave Menard, and
one each from Rob "Lord Zox" Madson and Craig Perko! Once you've had
a look at that, there's a new Future Imperfect
story waiting for you: Lost and Found,
or, a Time Lord's Holiday. Enjoy! 06/30/2003
- Symphony of the Sword artwork
update! A new R-Type piece on the staff artworks page, and a
new piece of fan
art by Craig Perko. 06/12/2003
- A special little something on the Symphony general
reference images page. Yay! 05/28/2003
- Phil has colored Day Old
Bread! Check it out! 05/27/2003
- Doc brought us a present from Anime Central 2003! It's in the Symphony of the Sword
commissioned images area. 05/22/2003
- Neon Exodus Evangelion: Apotheosis
Now. Do I really need to say anything else? 05/16/2003
- The final release poster by R-Type and Truss is now on the Neon Exodus
Evangelion The Motion Picture page, plus a Durandal terminal
with some data you may find interesting. T minus 17 hours and
counting... 05/16/2003
- While he's coloring stuff, Phil also added some chromatic
variation to a piece which Doc commissioned for me at Katsucon 2003.
Enjoy it at the usual
place. 05/12/2003
- Another Phil piece colored; check it out on the staff art
page! 05/07/2003
- Phil has colored one of his recent Symphony works, and in doing so
dramatically increased its power. See if you don't agree at the staff art
page. 04/30/2003
- New in the Subterranean Vault of Oddities
and Wonders is a story reaching clear back to 1986, though all of
its actual contents were produced in the last five years. It's weird
and creaky and more than a little expositional, but what the hell,
it's Eyrie history come to life - please enjoy, or at least try not to
get too upset by, Eyrie
Productions Destroys the Marvel Universe! 04/28/2003
- Forum user Logan Darklighter got in touch with the late Rachael
Mayo's mother, Kathie, who found a piece of Symphony
of the Sword fan art Rachael apparently drew not long before
she died. The lady was kind enough to scan it for us, and here it is. 04/18/2003
- I'm not entirely sure it's a good idea, but it's late, my head is
running in circles, and I have to do something; so there's a
new terminal over on the Neon Exodus Evangelion
the Motion Picture page. Anything else I might try to say, it
already says. 04/18/2003
- Larry Mann has produced a couple of new Symphony images, which can be had in the usual spot. Enjoy
'em! 04/13/2003
- Let's cut right to the chase: S4M4: Hunter Rose is
ready. 04/03/2003
- This next bit started out as a subthread in the draft for S4M3: On the Road Again,
but it became so different in tone and so involved that I decided to
make a spin-off out of it. What it grew into was the blockbuster
first episode of the hit New Avalon TV series Knights of Avalon:
Heavy Metal Super Defense Force... or something. Anyway, brace
yourselves for Great
Justice! 03/31/2003
- Another new Phil B&W piece in the appropriate place.
Enjoy! 03/30/2003
- Phil is doing a new Symphony image or two. The first one is
up at the staff
images page. 03/10/2003
- Three new pieces of Dave Menard Symphony fan art in the
appropriate place. Forum users have seen two already - but not
the third... 03/09/2003
- The IPS Valiant 2409 Summer Tour has begun! Here's Symphony of the Sword No. 4, Third Movement: On the Road Again. Also,
a new piece of Dave Menard fan art in the appropriate
spot. 02/25/2003
- Couple of changes on the Symphony fan art page;
a new piece from Yul Kim, plus Dave Menard has removed that freaky
psychedelic background from his pic of the Utonium sisters. Check 'em
out. 02/12/2003
- Another short one for Symphony No. 3, setting a
few things up for later. Here's Lion of Avalon. 01/25/2003
- Inspired by a tidbit I tossed out for a Forum post and written in
a single evening, here's an old-school UF:
Exile story I call Futureshock. 01/19/2003
- Added a quick writeup of Old Exterminator, as seen in S3E: Arena, to the Symphony General Reference
Images page. 01/14/2003
- A new fan art offering from Dave Menard is on the Symphony fan
art page. Please check it out; I think it's just terrific. 01/12/2003
- Filling in a little bit of the "lost years" of Symphony of the Sword
No. 3, here's a little thing I like to call Arena. Enjoy! 01/12/2003
- Here's the fourth and final Neon Exodus
Evangelion the Motion Picture teaser poster - we hope you
like it. Also, there's a new terminal on the NXE:TMP page. 01/05/2003
- Merry Christmas, everyone (yes, even if you don't celebrate it)!
We gave the Symphony cast the week
off, so here's Aegis Florea 2:
Commander Moreau Reprise! 12/25/2002
- More Symphony artwork today - a
new piece by R-Type on the staff imagery page, and
a new commissioned item
as well. Enjoy! 12/17/2002
- Not one, not two, not three, but four pieces of new fan art
from Yul Kim. Proceed immediately to the Symphony fan art
page for review. 12/15/2002
- The next piece of Symphony of the
Sword is ready, and rather than try to prime you for it here,
I think I'll just let you take it cold. Here's Interlude on Titan in F (For
Tomorrow). 12/15/2002
- Three new pieces of Symphony fan art from Dave Menard!
Check 'em out on the Symphony fan
art page. 12/13/2002
- Also, a quick look at the robots of S4M2 is available on the
General Reference
Imagery page. Don't look until you've read A Night to
Remember, of course. 12/06/2002
- Symphony No. 4
rolls onward with the Second Movement, A Night to
Remember. 12/06/2002
- Fun new Symphony fan art from Dave Menard! 12/03/2002
- A new sub-page has been added to the Symphony of the Sword imagery page. We hope you enjoy
the Automotive Reference
Section! 12/01/2002
- Production got a little rearranged on the next part of Symphony of the Sword
No. 4, so the bit originally posted as a teaser for the Second
Movement ended up being part of an entr'acte instead. Here is The Kindness of
Strangers. 12/01/2002
- The first Warriors of the Outer Rim
arc, Road Movie to Naboo, is now complete; here's Part 4, Balance. 11/19/2002
- Here's the third part of Warriors of the
Outer Rim: Road Movie to Naboo; it's called Relics. 11/16/2002
- At the time it was begun, it was the Undocumented Features universe's most ambitious
multi-part project since the original Core Stories. Now it is at last
complete. Twilight: Seventh Seal: Communion is
now available. 11/08/2002
- What the hell, it was ready anyway - here's episode 2 of
Transformers: Collision Courses, The Berlin Encounter. Just don't
expect 'em all at this pace... :) 11/02/2002
- Meanwhile, at another point in the Undocumented Features Future Imperfect timeline -
make sure you refer to the chronological
listing if you get lost - here's the first part of an open-ended
episodic sequel to Cybertron
Dreams. I call it Collision
Courses: Fables of the Reconstruction. 10/31/2002
- For creative reasons, we're jumping ahead a bit in the Symphony of the Sword. We still plan to
finish Symphony No. 3
sometime; until then, please enjoy the beginning of Symphony No. 4: Page of Swords! 10/17/2002
- Small change on the Symphony staff images
page - Phil has colored his picture of Hunter Janice. Also, I
finally got around to updating the About Eyrie
Productions page. 09/22/2002
- Phil has finished coloring "Ambush"; it's in the same place on the
Symphony Commissioned
Images page. Take a look! 09/10/2002
- Here are a few imagery updates. Phil has colored the last of the
February run of Symphony images and
provided a new black-and-white one; they're on the staff imagery
page. In addition, he's provided an illustration for the Future Imperfect story The Vastru Encounter, which
can be found on the FI index with the story's
own listing. He also scored us a sweet commission featuring a Symphony-introduced character at Otakon
2002, which is, naturally, on the commissioned images page.
Enjoy them all. 08/24/2002
- Martin Rose has completed another Days of Thunder story.
Check it out, but be warned: it's not for the faint of heart. (The
framing sequence falls after SOS1/M2: Christmas
Rose, but the story itself is an Exile piece.) Brace yourselves for Days of Thunder: Dies
Irae! 08/24/2002
- Phil has colored
another of his Symphony of the Sword
images. Check it out on the staff images
page. 08/22/2002
- Something new in the Symphony images: staffer Larry "R-Type" Mann's
first Symphony picture. Scope it on the staff artworks page! 07/10/2002
- A little reorganization to the Symphony of the Sword images
area; I've created a new page for commissioned artworks and moved
"A Mövenpick
Moment" there, and also put up a new commissioned piece there and
Phil Moyer's latest on the staff artwork
page. Check 'em out! 06/29/2002
- Some more Symphony of the Sword
reference imagery: a few photos of Corwin and Kozue's new home, the
World Wide Building, now available on the general reference images
page. 06/21/2002
- You may have seen Anne
Springsteen's name pop up in the credits of a few Symphony of the Sword episodes as our
resident scientist; now here's her debut as a character in a new
Future Imperfect story, The
Vastru Encounter! 06/19/2002
- Year Three of the Symphony of the
Sword begins with Symphony No. 3's Fifth
Movement, Sophomore
Slump. 06/15/2002
- There's a special new Symphony of the
Sword image on the Symphony staff artwork
page. Putting it there might be stretching a point, but it fits
better there than anywhere else - check it out. 06/14/2002
- Another from the "someone may find this interesting" file: the Symphony of the Sword general reference images
page now contains a little gallery of the instruments used by
Kaitlyn's band, the Art of Noise. Fan artists take note! :) 06/13/2002
- A color version of Dave Menard's fan image of Amanda Dessler is
now available. Check it out on the Symphony fan
art page. 06/12/2002
- Man, I can't believe I forgot to link this in. The front page of
the June 9, 2406 New Avalon Cornet-Scientifer, as seen in Gunboat Diplomacy
and developed on the Forum, is now on the Symphony general
reference page. 06/11/2002
- An apology is in order! Zox's poster wasn't the first piece of Warriors of the Outer Rim fan art.
Another reader - by the email address, I think Yul Kim, who
contributed a very nice picture of Utena for the Symphony fan art page
- sent me a sketch of Len a little while back, but it ended up on the
machine I don't usually do website updates from, and completely
slipped my mind. Sorry, YK! The image can be had at the Warriors subpage. 06/11/2002
- Just because I can, I've put a couple of pictures of Scout, the
horse Anthy borrowed in Coming to
Terms, on the Symphony general
reference images page. 06/09/2002
- Forum user Rob "Lord Zox" Madson has contributed the first piece
of Warriors of the Outer Rim fan art,
a poster for Road Movie to Naboo. Check it out on the Warriors subpage. Also, I'm a big goober
and forgot to make note on this page that Phil Moyer completed another
of the black-and-white Symphony of the
Sword images the other day. You can find it on the Symphony staff
art page. 06/07/2002
- Symphony's next is here,
finishing up the Summer of Adventure with an entr'acte I call The End of the Tour. 06/04/2002
- Here's a small thing I can share now that A Day of Infamy is out. I'm not
particularly worried about it distracting anybody from the
aforementioned, since it's a Tiny Thing, but it amused me when it
hacked its way out of my skull the other day and you know how I like
to share the fun as soon as possible... I call it Invasion. 05/28/2002
- You've seen the ads on the Forum, now here's
the "movie": Undocumented Features Future
Imperfect's A Day of
Infamy. Don't say you weren't warned... 05/28/2002
- Well, the entr'acte I was going to do to tie up the loose ends
from Symphony No. 3's
Third Movement grew up and became a movement all its own. Please
enjoy Coming to
Terms! 05/24/2002
- The Symphony of the Sword rolls on:
here's Symphony No. 3's
Third Movement, Valiant
Rose. 05/17/2002
- Here's a little prequel to Road Movie which I can share
with you now that you've seen Emmy's story in Journeys: it's
called A Dark and Silent Rendezvous. 05/02/2002
- OK, this one's kind of odd. I've been working on this story for
almost a decade now. It's one of the first Exile stories I started,
and its aftereffects have been mentioned in Twilight and the
Symphony of the Sword series - but I've never quite been able
to finish it. So I'm trying a bit of an experiment - posting what I
have, which coincidentally ends at a nice sort of TV-style
season-break point, and seeing what happens. Sometimes projects
acquire inertia just because of the dramatic flow, so we'll see. In
the meantime, enjoy Part One of Scrapheap City Shuffle:
Transformation - and be gentle with it, some of this stuff is
at least nine years old... :) 04/29/2002
- Here's the next bit of Road Movie to Naboo, Part 2, Journeys. (If you're
wondering, no, I'm not cranking this out that fast - most of this
one's been done for some time, I just haven't felt free to finish it
up, polish it and post it until now.) 04/26/2002
- Flash forward! In 2412, after a six-year absence that began in Symphony of the Sword No. 3's Second
Movement, Per Ardua,
Leonard Hutchins returns from the Far Rim in Road Movie to Naboo, Part 1:
Impulsion, the first installment in the new Warriors of the Outer Rim series. 04/26/2002
- Just a minor thing; I got to thinking that the AEGIS shield
pictured on the Symphony
General Reference Images page looked rather crap, so I've re-done
it. I'm quite a bit happier with it now. 04/18/2002
- More Symphony of the Sword coming
your way: here's the latest entr'acte, Gunboat
Diplomacy. 04/02/2002
- Sometimes dormant projects come back to life when you least expect
them to; this time it's Street Fighter: Warrior's
Legacy's turn. Here's Battle 05:
Just Another Weekend on the Job. 03/24/2002
- More graphics noodling: the SOS General Reference
Images page now contains my take on the ID shield carried by
agents of the IPO's AEGIS division. 03/21/2002
- As part of my ongoing exploration of the graphics-noodler end of
things, I've turned R-Type's illustration
of Marina Kirishatova into a trading card sort of thing - check it out
on the NXE:TMP
index. 03/20/2002
- Some more new Symphony artwork -
the color
version of Phil
Moyer's piece for Interlude at Vortigern's
Lake, and two new general reference
images relating to it. 03/19/2002
- Here's the next piece of Symphony No. 3, the
Second Movement, Per
Ardua. 03/19/2002
- R-Type has
completed a new NXE:TMP character
illustration - check it out at the bottom of the promo-art list. 03/17/2002
- New NXE:TMP terminal screen, and a
fresh piece of SOS
staff art from Anne, who is celebrating having gotten her tablet
working! 03/14/2002
- Another NXE:TMP
promo poster hits the site, as well as its accompanying character
image (look at the bottom of the list). 03/14/2002
- Here's the next
NXE:TMP teaser poster - enjoy! 03/11/2002
- Lots of graphic things happening this week. Here's the first
piece from a new
fan artist for the Symphony of the
Sword; also a new version of Logan Darklighter's
picture of Kaitlyn. Enjoy! 03/09/2002
- Check out the first of the new NXE the Motion Picture
posters, done up in a "theatrical teaser poster" style. Also,
don't miss Larry's new pic of Rei, to go with the image of Asuka that
went up yesterday. 03/09/2002
- Can it be? Is it possible? Yes - it's a new terminal screen on
the Neon Exodus Evangelion the Motion
Picture page. Also a couple of new pieces of NXE:TMP promotional art by our
own R-Type! 03/08/2002
- Touched up the IPS
Valiant pic a bit - when giving Kelly the specs for the
ship's markings, I stupidly forgot a few. 03/08/2002
- Some additions to the Symphony imagery: a couple
of new images in the General
Reference Section and three new starship writeups in the Starships Reference
Section. (Also, check out the spiffy new image in the ship
profile for the Challenger, with special
thanks to Kelly St. Clair for his work on that and the new
Valiant pic!) 03/06/2002
- The Symphony of the Sword area is
undergoing a bit of a redesign this evening. The main page and the Imagery section will both be, I
hope, more convenient to use by the time I'm through. Also, there's a
new piece of fanart by Rob
Madson. 03/05/2002
- The next of Phil's B&W artworks has been colored here. 02/25/2002
- Phil has colored the
first of his recent batch of B&W Symphony artworks. Check it out here. 02/21/2002
- OK, here we go with Symphony
No. 3's First Movement, Ad Astra. There's not a lot
of action in this one, but there is quite a bit going on. 02/15/2002
- Phil Moyer has
provided a number of great new Symphony
images. Check them out here. 02/11/2002
- Just a short one to tie up and smooth out Symphony No. 2: Coda: Welcome To Your
Life. 02/05/2002
- Here's the seventh and final full movement of Symphony No. 2, Ceremony and Celebration. As
last time, there's also new Imagery content which you shouldn't
check until you've read the story. 01/30/2002
- And now, the conclusion of Symphony
No. 2's Knights of the Tenth World trilogy: the Sixth
Movement, Endgame!
(Update includes special new Imagery content which you shouldn't
check until you've ready the story.) 01/24/2002
- Knights of the Tenth World continues! Here's Part 2,
Symphony No. 2's Fifth Movement, Pawns to Promotion. 01/23/2002
- OK, here we go - Knights of the Tenth World kicks off with
Symphony No. 2's Fourth Movement, Opening Maneuvers! 01/13/2002
- Here's the last of the "warning" stories before the Symphony really heats up again: Interlude at Vortigern's Lake
in C Major. 01/06/2002
- Remember I said things in the Symphony were about to get hectic?
Here's the first sounding of the horn: Overture in E. 01/04/2002
- It's time for one more peek behind the Veil of the Tenth World
before things start getting really hectic. Here, then, is the Symphony of the Sword's third
Intermezzo, Anne Cross's Tower Shrouded in
Frost! 01/03/2002
- After two misalignments, I finally got the timing right - here's a
New Year's story at the New Year. Try out the new Symphony entr'acte, Year's End Confrontation
Blues. 01/01/2002
- Well, there's a certain symmetry here; I got the story about
Utena's birthday out the day before Christmas, and now I've got the
Christmas story out the day after Utena's birthday. Here's Another Christmas Rose. 12/30/2001
- It looks like Another Christmas Rose won't be ready in time
for a Christmas release, but the chronologically-next piece, Interlude at the Hotel
Monolith in C# Minor, doesn't require it (and anyway, it's
been burning a hole in my skull for months), so merry
Christmas. 12/24/2001
- Meanwhile, elsewhere in the UF universe:
Kris Overstreet's If You Can Make
It There. 12/23/2001
- Symphony No. 2 rolls on with the
Second Movement: Blue Moon
Serenade. 12/21/2001
- By popular demand: Interlude in the Golden City in
A. 12/13/2001
- Another day in the lives: Symphony
No. 2: Interlude in Zero
Gravity in G Minor. 12/11/2001
- Here we go with the first full movement of Symphony No. 2, This Old Dorm! (With
special birthday wishes for Contributing Editor Anne Cross!) 12/09/2001
- Sometimes you find yourself finishing the oddest things in the wee
hours of the morning. Here's another piece of the Undocumented Features Exile: Aegis
Florea, Part 1: Commander Moreau. 12/03/2001
- A major revision to the One-Hit
Wonder's writeup, now with rendered images by Discussion Forum user Jeffrey Crouch. 12/03/2001
- Look out! The Symphony Muse clobbered Contributing Editor Anne Cross
over the holiday weekend, and the result was Intermezzo: A Crown of
Roses. 11/26/2001
- What the hell, this technical stuff is easy; here's a writeup for
the new starship that debuts in Pavane for a Dead Princess.
Check it out at the Symphony
Imagery page. 11/21/2001
- The last loose end from Symphony
No. 1 is now tied up with Pavane for a Dead
Princess. 11/21/2001
- Symphony No. 1 is now concluded
with the Seventh
Movement: Reflections in Transition. Also, a new starship
writeup and weapon image from that story on the Symphony Imagery page. 11/19/2001
- A new piece of Phil
art and a weapons reference section added to the Symphony Imagery page. 11/15/2001
- Phil completed a new
illustration for The Rose that
Blooms in the City of Light the other day, and there are now ship
profiles for the Challenger and Truss's Morning Sun as well - check
them all out on the Symphony
Imagery page. 11/10/2001
- Now that Hunted Rose is
out, I can finally post the full writeup for Daggerdisc! 11/09/2001
- Shorter wait this time - the next major step in the Symphony, Sixth Movement: Hunted Rose, is
here. 11/09/2001
- At the suggestion of Forum user Mike Feeney,
the deleted scenes from Roses in Springtime have
been worked into their own separate piece, Fanfare for an Exiled
Prince in E-flat Major. Enjoy. 11/04/2001
- At last! Here's the Symphony of the
Sword's Fifth Movement:
Roses in Springtime! 10/29/2001
- The last of the Symphony side stories
between the Fourth and upcoming
Fifth Movements is now complete; please enjoy Entr'acte: The Rose that Blooms in the City of Light. 09/23/2001
- Here is a small but important piece of the Symphony of the Sword: Interlude at Bancroft Tower
No. 1 in D Minor. 09/10/2001
- Here's the next piece of Symphony Spring
Break 2405: Entr'acte: Hogtown Rhapsody! (There's a new illustration for this part, too,
but you shouldn't check it out until you've read the story.) 09/07/2001
- The Symphony imagery was
getting a little unwieldy, so we gave it a page of its own. And
remember those little polls we used to do? There's a new one up on
the Symphony main page, so get over and
vote! 08/31/2001
- Phil has done another
piece of Symphony artwork - go to the Symphony page and check it out. 08/29/2001
- Here's a piece of the Symphony cast's
Spring Break 2405 experience, Entr'acte: The Courtship of Princess
Dessler. 08/29/2001

available. 08/22/2001
