Controlling play/record volume

Type "gaintool &" to bring up the I/O volume control interface.

For PLAYING:

If output is set to SPKR, sound comes out of the internal speaker. **Use this only if you are the ONLY person in the room, since it's annoying to others.**
If output is set to JACK, plug the headphones into the jack *in the back of the tower* with the headphone icon on it (please be careful/slow when moving the tower around). **The headphone jack on the front next to the CD drive won't work for this.**

For RECORDING:

Make sure your input is set appropriately to either MIC or LINE, according to which plug you've used on the back of the tower (please be careful/slow when moving the tower around).
