Prof. Vishal Misra and Dan Rubenstein co-authored the paper "Opportunistic Use of Client Repeaters to Improve Performance of WLANs", which received the best paper award at ACM CoNext 2008, a major networking conference to take place in Madrid. The paper was co-authored with Victor Bahl (Microsoft Research), Ranveer Chandra (Microsoft Research), Patrick P. C.
