A family of OMNICAMERA sensors has been developed, each sensor designed to meet the needs of a specific application area. The following are a few examples.
This compact prototype can be placed on a conference table to capture an image that includes all the participants of the conference. It uses a transparent dome to ensure minimal self-obstruction of the sensor.

This prototype includes two sensing units placed back-to-back. In this configuration, the two units share the same center of projection. The result is a single sensor that has a complete "sphere of view."

This prototype has been developed for mounting on ceilings and walls. It's wide field-of-view allows video monitoring without blind spots.

This prototype can be mounted on a vehicle or any mobile platform and used for autonomous navigation and map building applications.

Examples of omnidirectional images captured using the above sensors as well as perspective images generated by the software can be found in OMNIVIDEO.
